Interconnected technologies are now an inevitable part of life, from smartphones to smart cities. One of the key tools being used to create smart cities is geospatial technology. Geospatial technology, commonly known as geomatics, refers to the technology used for visualization, measurement, monitoring, and analysis of features or phenomena that occur on the earth. The proposed talk strives to present the framework for smart cities and key
applications of geospatial technologies during various stages of smart city infrastructure.
